Big Sky is Growing!

The villages are growing right before our eyes. Buildings are going up all over the place. There are around 80 front doors, or individual residences currently under construction at the Yellowstone Club. Most of them being ski-in ski-out homes or ski-in ski-out condos. Homes and condos are being constructed all over the meadow.  There is a grocery store, a medical center, and commercial buildings all being built in the Big Sky Town Center.  With all the activity in Big Sky, long-term rentals are hard-to-find. The vacation rental market is experiencing some of its highest levels to date.  Along with all of the construction of homes, condos, and commercial properties, there are a plethora of new trails for hiking, biking, and horseback riding being constructed, and new features added to the community park.

A lot of it is due to the fact that Cross Harbor Capital Partners LLC has stepped in to take over the Yellowstone Club, and partnered with Boyne Resorts on Spanish Peaks Mountain Club and Moonlight Basin. This merger of Cross Harbor, Moonlight Basin and Big Sky Resort, will facilitate the growth of a new ski resort megaplex with opportunities for real estate and recreational activities galore.  Enter LTD real estate. LiveTHEDREAM  is our motto and there's no time like the present to realize your dreams in Big Sky! Kevin and Craig have been in the real estate business in Big Sky for over 20 years combined. Opening their own office and firm has been their dream for quite a while, and the dream has become real. The economic climate has changed. The evidence is everywhere.

The resort has increased its level of mountain biking and zip lining. Tours to the summit of Lone Peak are amazing for the whole family and many other family oriented activities are available around the Big Sky base area.  Not to mention the world-class fly fishing.  Big Sky has always been a skier or outdoor enthusiasts paradise but lacking in the amenities of other resorts. That is rapidly changing as the new merger is bringing us headlong into the world-class resort status. The price of properties in Big Sky has been increasing as well. We are not at the bottom of the market anymore but I feel there is still a long way to the top.  Opportunity abounds. Call LTD Real Estate for a full market update, ski or fishing report or just to say Hi!
